CONEXO — How to Play

Find four groups of four words that share a secret connection. Each group has one hidden theme — your job is to figure out what it is.

Select four words and tap Submit. If you're correct, those words get locked in. If not, you use up a guess and try again.

Red — Straightforward. Usually a familiar, direct theme.

Green — Medium difficulty. Needs a bit of thought.

Blue — Hard. The connection is more abstract or lateral.

Purple — Tricky. Often involves wordplay or a double meaning.

Score points for each group you find. The fewer guesses you use, the higher your score.

Max possible score is 120 points (30 × 4 groups with no mistakes).

Each game gives you 2 free hints. Tap the Hint button during the game to reveal a clue about one of the unsolved groups.

Watch out for words that could seem to belong to multiple groups — that's often intentional misdirection.
